golf with the best friend...

i was going to ask if three posts in one day was a little excessive, but i just looked at the time and i'm 18 minutes into today. no danger of excessive posting here. :)

adam and i spent the afternoon at pevely farms golf course. what a GORGEOUS day!! adam played...and so did i...although, my playing only included a camera. i'm definitely not a golfer...my one time on a golf course that was not mini was SUPER EMBARRASSING and will NOT be repeated...those who witnessed (adam and shaun) keep your mouths shut. ;)

ANYWAYS, i know nothing about golf and adam patiently answered my many questions and endured the clicking and distracting beeping of my camera...which i figured out how to turn off about hole 16...oops! over 300 images and an awesome 300 yard drive later...way to go, buddy!!!! here are a few highlights from adam's game...

the course is just BEAUTIFUL!!!

numbers and signs fascinate me...i'm weird...i know...

scorecard...

nice drive on this hole...aren't you proud...i'm learning the terminology! :)

this hole was shaped like a guitar...fun. :)

chipping in...one of my favorite shots of the day!

putting...

well played adam! another favorite of the day...

here are some highlights from my game :)

a spike in some broken stairs...

this leaf was bigger than my head...adam says that doesn't take much :p whatever...it was big.

part of a really awesome bridge and rock wall...

love the texture and depth of field here...

i love this one...

interesting...

i was shooting these flowers and almost didn't notice the grasshopper. way to be observant! he just hung out and let me shoot. thanks little buddy!

abstract...course and golf cart windshield...

the sun was going down fast, but i caught a little flare! awesome!

thanks for bringing me along, best friend. it was a good day!
