lots going on...my head hurts

as of 7:30 tonight, microbiology is officially over FOREVER. i took both tests, lecture and lab...passed...and came out of the class with a C. i figure that's the best i could ask for with who i had to work with and now it's done. i am posting my textbook on amazon.com to sell it and am planning on burning my 3 (yes 3) workbooks that went along with the course. good riddance to bad rubbish!

i have 2 weeks off...then fall classes begin...ending my life as i know it. :) free time will no longer be mine. my life will consist of work, class, studying and the occasional meal and hopefully a bit of sleep. books have been ordered...i think there were 6 maybe??...and they are on the way...gotta love amazon and super shipper savings...

been driving a pt cruiser today. my poor little vivie's check engine light came on and she had a few other little issues that needed to be taken care of. but it could have been worse. nice of the dealership to provide me with a rental...pt cruisers remind me of a sport hearse...i miss my sassy little viv. tomorrow we shall be reunited my darling. :)

just booked a flight to hang out with one of my very favorite couples in a few weeks...the stecks...just for a weekend...but hopefully we can get in a day at the beach!! can't wait to see you, matt and erin!

art experience coming up at windsor...i've actually submitted some work this time...i think it's been at least 9 months since i've had the time or the desire...i need to get on it and get the prints and matboard ordered and cut.

speaking of work...i'll be shooting photos for some super cute people, the bergman family soon. so be looking for those photos to be posted in a few weeks. thanks rob and rachel for asking me to shoot for you again this year. makes my heart smile...

had an appointment with dr. f yesterday. good report. going to start decreasing prednisone again...slower this time...maybe i can get off that hellacious nastiness for good this time!! standing orders for labs every two weeks...dr. f keeps a good eye on me. i'm thankful.

as you can see, life is a bit crazy and about to get crazier. i know there are several other things i wanted to talk about, but i feel a ringing in my ears it's pretty hard to focus. there's more going on in my heart right now than i have time...or words...to express...and i want and need to leave you with a bit of something quiet...

"what is my dream of God's purpose? His purpose is that i depend on Him and on His power now. if i can stay in the middle of the turmoil calm and unperplexed, that is the end of the purpose of God. God is not working toward a particular finish; His end is the process--that i see Him walking on the waves, no shore in sight, no success, no goal, just the absolute certainty that it is all right because i see Him walking on the sea. it is the process, not the end, which is glorifying to God...God's end is to enable me to see that He can walk on the chaos of my life just now. If we have a further end in view, we do not pay sufficient attention to the immediate present: if we realize that obedience is the end, then each moment as it comes is precious." --oswald chambers
