funny conversations in a hospital room...

my mom has been in the hospital this week...that's what brings up this topic. side note...so weird for our roles to be reversed...normally i'm the one in the hospital bed. don't worry, she's fine...

she's been on the lovely clear liquid diet for a few days and i was there with her last night when she got her tray. on the tray was a precious little cup of red jell-o which brought up the conversation "why don't hospitals make jigglers for their patients??" they are super fun and we really think it would go a long way in lightening the mood of a patient drinking just boring broth. who wouldn't love getting a plate of jell-o with a cookie cutter on it?!?!? the fun could on for hours...or maybe we are just easy to entertain. hehe. it probably takes a little more work and more packets of jell-o which would be more expensive. but come on, what does jell-o cost...$.50/box? and i'm sure hospitals can purchase in bulk. so yeah...idea people...there's one for ya.

our conversation about jigglers led us to the question...how do you eat your jell-o? i mean it's jell-o. not really much substance to it. how many ways could there be? do you squish it through your teeth and swish it around before swallowing (like my mom...so funny...)? do you slurp it off your spoon like spaghetti (like me...) or are you of more normal persuasion who doesn't have strange thoughts like us? haha...

seriously...we want to know...
