things that make my heart smile #398768
the iris are blooming!!!!!!!!!!!!! my all time favorite flower! they are just soooo beautiful and they smell divine!!! i'm going home this weekend for mother's day and i'm going to raid my dad's garden. he's got iris of every color you can imagine!!!!!

i want some! i love iris too and i want a bunch of different colors. is it true that some colors will push out or outgrow less"dominant" colors and you ahve to think carefully when planting???
yes, that's true. you have to plant and transplant every few years or they go back to the basic light purple. sad.
