flutterbies
so friday, i went to the butterfly house for the first time. sick isn't it that i've lived here 9 years and have never visited?!?!? my friend grace had free passes (score!), and we decided to take advantage of our day off. warm and sunny, it was a perfect day outside...inside, however, it was a sweltering rainforest!!!! with sweat pouring, we watched, amazed, as these little creatures flew through the air lighting on delicate leaves and flowers, then fluttering around hardly staying in one place for even a second. around 1500 of these guys are in the greenhouse at any given time and i was in awe. it's amazing how God created these little buddies with so much detail. so beautiful...wow! i could have sat forever and just watched them...if i weren't about to disentegrate from the humidity. i'll go back...just waiting for a cold winter day! :)

Those are great! I kinda want to go get snappy with myself now.
Ooops. I told an adoptive family to go this past weekend b/c they had "A/C". Perhaps I steered them the wrong way. :)
